Sky News presenter Kimberley Leonard has left the channel.
“I’m so overwhelmed right now. That was quite a shift!,” Kimberley posted on X.
“Thank you so much for watching and for all the messages. I nearly didn’t get through the weather! K x”
Leonard posted a few days ago that she was leaving Sky News and heading off on a new adventure with “more info on that to come.”
She had been at Sky News for seven years after serving as a journalist and producer on Al Jazeera in Doha.
Born in Kenyan, Leonard started her career at the largest FM station in Nairobi after studying at the University of Cape Town and gaining an MA from the University of Westminster.
I'm leaving Sky News and heading off on a new adventure. More info on that to come – but please join me for #Breakfast tomorrow and mid-morning on Monday for my last shifts. And please do send pictures of where you're watching from. K x
