UPDATED: Laurence Fox, Dan Wootton and Calvin Robinson have been suspended by GB News.
Fox made offensive remarks about Ava Evans – a journalist for the website PoliticsJOE – in which he asked host Dan Wootton: “Who’d want to shag that?”
The broadcast regulator Ofcom has announced an investigation into the incident saying they have received around 7,300 complaints.
Robinson posted his support for Wootton saying: “I will not be appearing on Dan Wootton Tonight without Dan Wootton.”

A few hours later Robinson said: “I have been suspended from GB News.”
The boss of GB News, Angelos Frangopoulos, said Fox went “way past the limits of acceptance” in his “appalling” comments about journalist Ava Evans.
