BBC and ITV name presenter line ups for Women’s World Cup 2023

The BBC and ITV have announced their presenter line ups for the up and coming Women’s World Cup.

The International women’s association football championship will be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from the 20th July to 20th August 2023.

Gabby Logan, Reshmin Chowdhury and Alex Scott will lead the BBC’s coverage, while Laura Woods, Seema Jaswal and Michelle Owen front ITV’s coverage.

Former England players Steph Houghton, Ellen White and Fara Williams have been named on the BBC’s pundit team. Rachel Brown-Finnis, Anita Asante and Karen Bardsley will also provide tournament analysis.

They will be joined on the BBC by France great Laura Georges, Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall and Lewes head coach Scott Booth.

Eni Aluko, Karen Carney, Jill Scott, Emma Hayes, Fran Kirby, Lucy Ward, Siobhan Chamberlain, Emma Byrne, Vicky Losada and Jen Beattie will join ITV.

Leading the commentary across all platforms at the BBC are Robyn Cowen, Rachel Brown-Finnis, Jonathan Pearce, Vicki Sparks and Karen Bardsley. Other members of the team include Conor McNamara and Steven Wyeth.

Commentary on ITV will come from Seb Hutchinson, Sam Matterface, Pien Meulensteen and Tom Gayle, while reporting on the tournament will be Katie Shanahan.

All 64 matches from the tournament will be broadcast in the UK on either the BBC or ITV, except for the Final, which will be shown across both BBC One and ITV1.
